June Freedom Run 5K

General Race Info:

Join us at the PrairieFire Campus at 135th Street in Overland Park for this new event! The race will feature a fun course and participants are encouraged to bring their families out to enjoy the Juneteenth OP event afterwards! There will be finisher medals, t-shirts (not guaranteed for those registered after May 16th), and fun time had by all! The event after the race concludes is full of even more fun with a Parade, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Vendors, etc.

• Race Day Check-in: 6:30a
• 5K Start Time: 7:30a

• Date & Time: Saturday, June 6, 2026 - 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.
• Packet pickup location 2: TBD

Date & Time: Thursday, June 11, 2026 4-7p.m.

Leftovers from packet pick will be taken to the race site on race morning beginning at 6:30am.

Late Registrations:

• Online: Registrations are accepted online until June 11, 2026.
• Onsite Registration: Will be available on the morning of the race beginning at 6:30am.
• Shirts: Only guaranteed for those who register prior to May 16, 2026.
