• Purpose: Invest in your own mental and physical health by completing a 5K, learn and spread mental health awareness, and support Beacon of Hope!
• Goal: Raise $20,000 to provide more than 600 individual counseling sessions.
• Non-Profit: Beacon of Hope is a non-profit counseling agency that provides barrier-free counseling at no cost.

• Stigma: Mental health stigma is a serious issue, often leading to deadly outcomes.
• Statistics: Suicide rates in Michigan have increased 150% over the past 10 years, making it the 2nd leading cause of death for ages 10-34 in the US.
• Teens: In Ottawa County, 1 in 5 teens have seriously considered suicide, with ⅔ of those being under 16.
• Calls for Help: The National Suicide Hotline reported a 1000% increase in calls during COVID.
