Gateway to the Cure Covered Bridge 5K

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

For the 11th year in a row, the Town of Thurmont is offering a challenging 5K loop course that is both interesting for avid runners as well as participants looking to complete their first 5K! Walking (and strollers!) are always welcome too!

🎗️ Funding for Research

• History: Over the past 10 years, the Town of Thurmont has raised over 120K donated to the Patty Hurwitz Fund at FMH for breast cancer research.
• Beneficiary: Continuing in this endeavor, all money raised from the Gateway to the Cure Covered Bridge 5K will be donated to the Fund.

🏆 Awards and Perks

• Unique Swag: Each registrant will receive a personally crafted pint glass complete with the Gateway to the Cure logo.
• Food: There will be before and after-race food.
