🏞️ The SKIPPO Trail Race Overview

The Skippo began in 2009 as a 20k trail race in beautiful Castlewood State Park that featured two 10k loops on a fairly flat course except, of course, for the famous stairs! In 2011, we wanted to involve as many runners as possible so we added two more options, a 10k and a 30k. The Skippo then evolved into a two-day format in order to accommodate growth and popularity. In 2019 the 20k was changed to a Half-Marathon, and thus the modern day SKIPPO was born.

Consider entering the team competition for the Skippo Saturday 10k! Sign up, convince a few friends to join you and come see if you are St. Louis' fastest trail team.

• Team Size: Up to Five people may join the same team.
• Winning Criteria: The three fastest members of your team will have their times combined to determine the winner.
• Fun Challenge: Gather your friends and take part for a chance to compete against other teams.
• Community Spirit: Join the local running community and share in the excitement!
