Gadsden State Cross Country Camp

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Gadsden State Cross Country runners & coaches will host participants in grades 7-12 in an on-campus running clinic on July 24th from 8:30-3:00. This camp will teach basic and complex strategies, workouts, and tips to help all runners new and experienced take their running to the next level. Coaches are encouraged to attend and will not be charged. If you are a coach and plan on attending please email Coach Millander at jmillander@gadsdenstate.edu.

🌟 Guest Speaker

Guest Speaker will be Jacksonville State's Cross Country Coach Jeremy Provence.

📝 Requirements and Check-in

• Physical Copy: All participants MUST have a copy of their current physical. Participants can bring a copy on July 24th.
• Check-in: Camper check-in & same-day registration will take place in the gym at Beck Gymnasium from 8-8:15.
• Sign Up: Sign Up by June 24th to receive a camp t-shirt!
• Lunch: Lunch will be provided.

📅 Schedule

• 8:30: Whole group welcome in gym.
• 8:45: Transition to small group stations.
• 9:00-9:45: Station 1.
• 9:45: Transition to Station 2.
• 10:00-10:45: Station 2.
• 10:45: Transition to Station 3.
• 11:00-11:45: Station 3.
• 11:45: Transition to lunch.
• 12:00-1:00: LUNCH (Lunch will be provided for participants).
• 1:00: Transition to station 4.
• 1:15-2:00: Station 4.
• 2:00: Transition back to gym.
• 2:15-3:30: Wrap up with Special guest speaker Jeremy Provence.

The camp will take place at 203 College Drive, Gadsden, AL.
