Harvestfest 5k Description

• Event: Join us for the 4th annual 5k in Hungry Horse, Montana! This beautiful course will take you on a gravel road right next to the South Fork of the Flathead River. It will be one of the prettiest runs you have done this year!
• Date & Time: The race will start at 11:00am on Saturday, October 17th, 2026.
• Location: The race starts and ends at Canyon Elementary School, 200 North Street, Hungry Horse, Montana and is an out and back course.
• Participation: Race participants are encouraged to walk or run the course. Strollers are welcome, but please note that a section of the course is on a gravel road so be prepared!

Race Timing

• Chip Timing: The Harvestfest 5k is an official chip-timed race with medals handed out after.

Packet Pick Up

• Date & Location: Packets can be picked up at Canyon Elementary School on Friday, October 16th between 4:00-6:00pm.
• Same-Day Pickup: Same-day pickup at the race start is available but will end promptly at 10:30am to ensure the race starts on time at 11:00am.

Swag

• Guaranteed Swag: Race day swag is guaranteed for participants who sign up for the race prior to September 23rd, 2026.
• Post-Deadline Swag: Participants who sign up for the race after this date are not guaranteed swag.

Additional Details

• Late Registration: Available the morning of the race at Canyon Elementary School, from 8:30am-10:00am for an additional $5 fee.
• Race Start: The race starts at 11:00am sharp.

After Race Events

• Activities: Stick around after your race! After race events include a children's fun run and costume parade.
• Contests: Participate in the dessert auction, pie eating contest, kid's crafts, games and activities.
• Food: Enjoy a chili cook-off, cornbread competition, and a FREE chili lunch.
• More Fun: Yard games (weather dependent) and other fall activities! Event runs from 11:00am-3:00pm.

Proceeds

Proceeds for the Harvestfest 5k and event support the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, a 501-c6 nonprofit whose mission is to promote local business and support our community. A portion will also be donated to the West Glacier Elementary School to support school programs, materials, and projects.
