Race Overview

Run for your life around the Flats and Whiskey Island in your best Halloween costumes, make it to the finish, and celebrate at the Survival Party inside McCarthy's Downtown! Race events include a 5K and a Little Monsters Candy Dash.

Start Times

• 7:30 a.m.: Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup
• 8:45 a.m.: Little Monster Candy Dash
• 9:00 a.m.: 5K run (chip-timed)
• Post-race party: Will immediately follow the 5K inside McCarthy's Downtown

Dog Policy

Dogs are allowed at the event, but not inside McCarthy's Downtown.

• Little Monster Candy Dash: Non-Timed

• 5K Run: Pre-registration thru October 13: $35
• 5K Run: October 14 thru Race Day: $40
• Little Monster Candy Dash: Ages 8 & Under: $15

Early Packet Pickup

When: Thursday, October 23

Time: 4:00-6:00pm

Costume Contest

Details: Kids and Adult costume contest! Come dressed in your scariest, most funny, or coolest costumes! Our secret judges will be on hand to pick their favorite costumes during the event. One adult and one child winner will be announced after the 5K awards ceremony!

What is the Little Monster Candy Dash?

Before the 5K race, kids who are 8 years old or younger will line up and make a mad dash for Halloween candy courtesy of b.a. Sweetie candy company! It's a short route around the race site so parents can cheer them all on along the way!

Awards (5K Only)

• Top finishers: Top male and top female finishers overall will receive custom race trophies.
• Age Categories: The top three (3) male and female in the following age categories will receive custom race pint glasses.
• Categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over.

Refunds and Transfers: Sorry, but all entries are non-refundable. Once we’ve received and processed your entry, you will not receive a refund, you may not give or sell your race number to other people, and entry fees are not transferable to the next year’s race or any other race.
