🎉 10th Anniversary Celebration

It's the 10th Anniversary of the McKaig 5K Trail Race! As always, get ready for a beautiful, fun-packed, Autumn morning at one of the region's most highly regarded 5k Trail Races, but this time, expect a little extra. We'll do everything in our power to make the most memorable event yet!

🌶️ Participate Beyond Running

Don't want to run or walk? Stop by the McKaig table and get a $5 band to be part of the chili tasting & judging, and pick up a raffle ticket to win 4 tickets to a Union home game!

🏃‍♀️ Race Course Experience

As always, it's never the same course twice as you run the trails through these beautiful woods, across streams and up and down hills in this scenic but challenging race.

🐕 Family-Friendly Fun

Returning for another season is the Monkey Rock Miler (leashed dogs welcome), as well as the free Kids Race - your choice of a 150 meter jaunt around the school yard for younger kids or a half mile race that includes a small section of the trail for older kids.

🌿 Support Nature Preservation

A reminder that 100% of the proceeds go toward nature education programs and the maintenance and preservation of this nearly 100 acre oasis, which survives solely on donations, memberships and proceeds from events like this one. Great race, great cause, great time!

🏅 Awards and Prizes

Overall winner awards and prizes, custom age group winner medals, plus awesome race shirts for all registered by 9/31. This race will be limited to the first 125 racers registered. Early bird pricing through August 31st.
