Power Mile Road Race
The Power Mile Road Race is the premier road mile in the Gulf South.
Event Overview
- Charity Contribution: Over the past three years, the Power Mile has raised over $20,000 for charity.
- Participation: Each year we bring more than 500 participants, volunteers, and spectators to the West End Point to enjoy the race and festivities.
- New Location: The Power Mile is changing the location to West End Point in 2026!
- Course Features: The course is flat, fast, and enjoyable for both runners and spectators alike.
Post-Race Experience
- Scenic Views: Enjoy beautiful sunset views along Lake Pontchartrain.
- Food and Drinks: Treat yourself to food and a frosty beverage post-race.
- Special Event: Let's run it back! The beer mile relay! 4 beers! 4 people! Each running a quarter mile under the sunset!
- Join Us: Please join us for another great year at The Power Mile!

- Packet Pickup: 4:30 to 6:00 pm
- Kids Half Mile: 5:45 pm
- Half Mile Awards: 6:15 pm
- Mile Championship: 6:30 pm
- Mile Awards: 7:15 pm
- Beer Mile Relay: 7:30 pm
