Cleveland Heroes Run

JOIN US FOR THE 24th ANNUAL CLEVELAND HEROES RUN ON

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2026

Race Overview

• Event Type: Cleveland Heroes Run takes participants on either a 5-mile run or 2-mile run/walk through the local community.
• Paces: Each person sets his or her own pace and everyone has won before the event has even begun.
• Location: Both races start and finish at the Saint Joseph Academy in Cleveland.
• Course Details: The 5-mile course will run through the Cleveland Metro parks, while the 2-mile run/walk will be on Rocky River Drive.

Kids-Only Race

• Eligibility: Open to children 7 years old and younger.
• Start Time: Begins after the 5-mile race.
• Registration: Required for the kids' race with no entry fee.
• Inclusion: We want everyone to get involved in this great event!

Awards

• Competitive Spirit: Awards will be presented at the end of the races.
• 5 Mile Run: Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 M/F in various age groups.
• 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Top 1 Overall M/F, Top 2 M/F in the following Age Groups.
• Age Groups: Age groups include 14 & Under, 15-17, 18-24, etc. for 5 Mile Run and 7 & Under, 8-9, etc. for 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up

• Friday: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at St Joseph's Academy.
• Saturday: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at St Joseph's Academy.
• Sunday: At the race site at St Joseph's Academy.

Race Schedule & Parking

• Location: Both races start and finish at Saint Joseph Academy in Cleveland (3430 Rocky River Drive).
• Parking: Available at Saint Joseph Academy and Kamm’s Plaza.
• 6:45-7:45 a.m. Late Registration and Packet Pickup.
• 7:55 a.m. Opening Ceremonies, Fallen Heroes Roll Call.
• 8:15 a.m. 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
• 8:20 a.m. 5 Mile Run.
• 9:15 a.m. Kids Race (Academy Track).
