King George Fall Festival 10k/5k/1 Mile Fun Run

Race Overview

The 2025 King George Fall Festival Race/Run/Walk will be held for the 5th year on the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail. This event offers an untimed out-and-back race from the Bloomsbury Road trailhead of the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail.

• Timing: A digital timer will be setup at the finish line for those with a competitive streak.
• Support: Aid stations with hydration and first aid will be located at the start/finish and each turnaround point for respective event.
• Participants: Snacks will be provided along with fun items, including a wearable finisher's medal and complementary drawstring backpack with race swag for all participants!
• Family Friendly: This is a fun family event for all ages! Jogging strollers are allowed and no charge for children being pushed!

A photo shoot area with straw and pumpkins will be set up for pictures!

Schedule

• 6:45 AM: Participant check-in at the Bloomsbury Rd Trailhead
• 7:45 AM: 10k, 5k, and 1 Mile Race Start
• 9:45 AM: Awards Ceremony

Awards

All race finishers will be awarded a finisher's medal and drawstring pack back with goodies. The race will also offer a selection of beverages to rehydrate and relax after the race!

• Beverages: We’ll have coolers of water, Gatorade, apple cider, and other delicious drinks from which to choose!
• Raffle: All runners that plan on going to the Fall Festival after the race will be automatically placed in a raffle for a chance to win food truck coupons!
• T-shirts: We’ve also created race t-shirts and hoodies which can be purchased separately from this race registration.

In addition, we will offer $10 food truck coupons redeemable at the King George Fall Festival for the following categories:

• 10K: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female finishers
• 5K: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female finishers
• 1 Mile: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female finishers
• Raffle: 2 - $10 coupons will be raffled off before the start of the race!
