Twice a year Rucks On Main will host a military-themed ruck march at the Santa Fe Plaza in downtown Temple, Texas to honor our Veterans and The Fallen. This ruck march is open to everyone. On Memorial & Veterans Day weekends, marchers will fill their rucksacks with UP TO 40lbs of non-perishable food items to be donated to charitable organizations. The 40lb max is a suggested weight, not required - carry what you are comfortable with. Marchers will complete a 6-mile route through downtown and historic neighborhoods in North Temple.

• Registration: Participants can preregister online, or in person on the day of the event.
• T-shirt: Each participant will receive a t-shirt upon registration, but participants are not guaranteed this if they register 30 days or fewer before the event (supplies will be limited).
• Completion Gift: Upon completion, each participant will receive a small gift of our choosing.
• Post-March Celebration: After completing the ruck march, marchers will gather at the Santa Fe Plaza to enjoy food, locally-brewed craft beer, and camaraderie.

👥 Squads

Squads are made up of exactly 5 individuals, any gender mix. Squads will be scored by the compiled time of all 5 squad members. Each squad member must carry a minimum of 40 lbs. Awards to the top 3 squads.

• Setup Fee: There is a one-time setup fee of $25 for squads, added to the registration price of the person who creates the squad.
• Deadline for Changes: All changes/additions to squads must be complete by 9 am November 9th, 2024.
• Squad Dissolution: Incomplete squads will be dissolved after this deadline, and members will compete as individuals.
• No Refund Policy: There will be NO refund of the squad set-up fee.
