• Race Purpose: A fundraising event for Hope of Glory Ministries, benefiting families in Pitt County.
• Race type: A mixture of a traditional 5K and cross training with six exercise stations along the route.

⏰ Race Times

• Pre-Registered Race Bag Pickup: Friday, 10/10/2025, 1PM-6PM at Hope of Glory Ministries.
• Race Day Pickup: 6:45am-7:45am in the UBE Parking Lot.
• Day Registration: 6:45am-7:45am.
• Race Start: 8am for all races, Post-race party: 10 AM-12 PM.

👕 T-Shirts

• Participants: All will receive a quality moisture-wicking race t-shirt.
• Size Guaranteed: Pre-registered participants by Sept. 13th will have size guaranteed.
• Post-Deadline: Those registering after Sept. 12th are not guaranteed their size.

💲 Fees

• Early Bird Registration: $20 for Adult 5K/Cross Training (July 7-31).
• Pre-Registration: $30 Adult 5K (August 1-31).
• Race Day Fees: $35 Adult 5K (September 1 - Race Day).
• Family Walk: $15 prior to August 31, $20 after September 1.

🏆 5K Awards

• Overall Finishers: Top 3 male and female will receive prizes and medals.
• Age Group Medals: Top 2 male and female finishers in specific age groups.
• Age Groups: Categories include: 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
• Cross Training Awards: Similar prizes for top finishers in the cross training category.

📝 Registration

• Pickup Locations: Friday, October 10th for pre-registered bags.
• Race Day Registration: Available from 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM.

🚗 Race Day Parking

• Available Parking: Public lot across from UBE, parking decks, side streets.
• Restrictions: No parking in the UBE parking lot.

🏁 Course Description

• Starting Point: Uptown Greenville on Evans Street near The Scullery.
• Route Highlights: Towards Town Commons, down 1st St., running by East Carolina University.
• Water Stations: Available at each mile marker.
• Certification: The course is USATF certified.

⏱️ Chip Timing

• Timing Provided by: Run the East Event Timing and Management.
• Bibs: Each participant receives a race bib with a computerized chip.
• Results: Available post-race online at www.RunTheEast.com.

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

• Location: U.B.E. for awards and celebrations.
• Meal Discount: 20% off at The Scullery with your race bib.
• Date Specific: Valid on October 11th only.
