Race Overview

• Experience: We can't wait to share this beautiful NC State Park with you!
• Event Types: 10K Hike, 10K Race, Half Marathon Race, and a 50K Race.
• Timing: All races will be timed.
• Finisher Awards: All finishers who sign up in time will earn a sustainable wood medal.

Trail Information

• Trail Characteristics: These beginner friendly trails are highlighted with boardwalks and Spanish Moss.
• Terrain: The barely rolling terrain allows for PR's in every distance.
• Distance Accuracy: Trail distances are not exact: expect the 10K to be a little long and the Half to be slightly short.
• Adjustments: This year the Half will have a short out and back to ensure everyone gets the distance.

Start/Finish Information

• Location: The Start/Finish is at the back of the park near the river beach access.
• Check-in: Cash only sign up (limited spots available).
• Schedule:
  • 50K: 8:00 am to 8:45 am (starts at 9:00 am)
  • Hike, 10K, Half: 8:15 am to 9:15 am (starts at 9:30 am)
• Packet Pickup: No early packet pickup is available.
