🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

This race is all about YOU! Every decision we make has YOU in mind. This is a race designed for everyone from first timers to seasoned racers to all of those in-between. It is a picturesque course with one sizable hill around mile 2 followed by flat road for the rest of the 10K and rolling hills for the remainder of the Half Marathon.

💧 Water and Restrooms

Water Stations: There will be NINE water stations this year.
Restrooms: There are six bathroom opportunities.
Support: Lots of fans cheering you on along the way.

🤝 Charity Partnerships

We are again partnering with BOX, a nonprofit organization founded by women, dedicated to building connections that support women and girls. In 2021 we donated $4,100 to the Highland School District, in 2022 we donated $2,000 plus products to Davis High School, in 2023 we presented a $3,000 check to Rod’s House plus a ton of period products, and in 2024 we were beyond proud to write an $8,300 to Children's Village. This was our biggest donation by far!!!! This year we are proud to announce we raised $9,000 for Yakima's YWCA!

❤️ 2026 Charity Focus

We have finally decided on who we will be raising money for in 2026. We are so excited and proud to announce we will be raising money for Nathan's Place. When we started this crazy dream we raised money for Highland High School (unfortunately we did not have a race that year because of smoke) so, as this is our last year putting on the Never Say Never we wanted to again raise money for our hometown.

🏡 Nathan's Place Background

Nathan's Place was born just last year! Some amazing members of our community who noticed that our high school kids have no place to hang out after school dedicated their time and resources to create a gathering place. They have worked tirelessly to make Nathan's Place more than just a dream. This summer they had work parties to paint and fix up a building the city was not using, they got their 501(c)3 status so they could raise money to get computers, games, a BBQ, a TV, and more. The kids were pumped to start the school year with a place to hang out, do homework, and give back to our community. Then an unfortunate accident happened this summer and the building got severely damaged. Currently they do not know if insurance will cover the cost of fixing the building so now Nathan's Place has no place. They need our help more than ever. We don't want to see this dream, that our kids so badly need, go away. Your donations this year are going to make the biggest difference yet!

Flying pig trophies will be back again for first, second, and third place women and men runners and walkers for the Half Marathon and the 10K.

However, if even a 10K doesn’t sound fun come for the Finish Line Celebration Party! This is FREE to attend and welcome to all! Come cheer on the racers, get fabulous grub from Tacos Don Chayo, get refreshed with local beverages, play yard games with or without your kids and partake in our BEST raffle yet! And the WHEEL of FUN will be back again for even more prizes!
