About this race
Event Overview
The Sun City Barry James Memorial 5K and Half Marathon are put on every year by the Hard Core Running Club of Central Washington. They take place on the second Sunday of October at Volution Fitness, 650 University Parkway in Terrace Heights, Washington, just east of Yakima. The 5K and half marathon both start and end at Volution.
Course Details
- Aid Stations: There will be aid stations at miles 3.5, 7, and 10.
- Scenic Route: The half marathon is a favorite race of many participants with rolling hills alongside orchards.
Registration Fees
- Hard Core Runner Members: $15
- Non-Members: $20
- Youth Under 12: Free
- Price Increase: Costs go up to $22 on October 1st: Day of race entries will be $25.
