🏃‍♂️ Race Distances

50K, Half Marathon, 12K

The Olympic Adventure Trail Run (OAT Run) is a point-to-point trail 12K and half marathon as well as an out-and-back 50K that traverses Kelly Ridge between the Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Washington State, all on single-track trail. Limit 130 runners per distance.

🌲 The OAT Run Experience

• Scenic Nature: OAT Run is for trail runners who enjoy lush green forests filled with moss and ferns, towering evergreens, and spring trailside flowers.
• Stunning Views: Runners will get a stunning view of the Elwha River Valley as they run by the “Living Room”.
• Post-race Festivities: Enjoy hot burritos from Little Devil's Lunchbox, cold drinks, a toasty campfire, and door prizes at the after-party.
• Beer Garden: There will be a beer garden at the after-party as well, with proceeds to support 4PA, a local non-profit organization.

• Event Quality: All runners receive a professional well-organized event, a well-marked course, hydration, and snacks at water stations along the course.
• Custom Swag: Receive a great piece of custom race swag.
• Transportation: Shuttle to start (and return shuttle back to parking area / party).
• After-party: Chip timing, race photos, and after-party at Extreme Sports Park including a hot meal and a chance to win great door prizes from our local retailers.

Bring cash or card as there will be a beer garden at the finish line, hosted by and benefitting local non-profit organization 4PA.

This race is a friendly, community-based event, and a portion of race proceeds is donated to the Peninsula Trails Coalition (Olympic Discovery Trail) and the Peninsula Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of Washington, in appreciation for their countless hours of trail construction and maintenance on the North Olympic Peninsula.

📜 Refund Policy

• Refund Availability: 50% refund available until March 15, NO REFUNDS AFTER THIS DATE. No deferrals to another race or next year's race.
• Cancellation Insurance: You will have the choice during the registration process to buy cancellation insurance (unavailable for Canadian racers). With the insurance, you will get a full refund in circumstances including accident, illness, and family emergency, even after the March 15th date. Here are details and FAQ about the RegShield insurance.
• Transfer Policy: Transfers are allowed until 3 days before the race Transfer instructions.
• Cancellation Clause: If we are forced to cancel for any reason, runners will get a free transfer to the next year, or an 80% refund.
