Ancient Oaks 100-Mile Endurance Run

⏰ Race Entry Information

• Lottery Deadline: Entry into the lottery will absolutely end at midnight Eastern Time June 30!
• Invitation-Only: This is an Invitation-Only, No-Fee, Low-Aid race held in the Enchanted Forest Nature Sanctuary in Titusville, Florida.
• Event Dates: The 2025 dates are Saturday-Sunday December 20-21, 2025.
• Race Start Time: Race start time is 7:00 AM Saturday morning.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Course Length: Runners have 32 hours exactly to finish 29 loops of a 3.46-mile course for a total of 100.34 miles.
• Runner Cap: The race has a hard 60-runner cap on entries, per agreement with the park.
• Wait List: To receive an Invitation to Run, click on the WAITING LIST button anytime between 12:01 AM June 1, 2025, and 11:59 PM June 30, 2025.
• Selection Notification: Invitations to Run will be sent out via email on or about July 3, 2025.

📧 Email Guidelines

• Email Address: Please use an email address you KNOW you will be using for the entire year.
• Work Emails: I would strongly suggest against using a work email address, as work situations can change unexpectedly.
• Communication Issues: Requests from people using disabled email addresses often result in missed follow-ups.
• Follow-Up Notifications: Everyone will either receive an Invitation to Run or be placed on the Wait List.

⚖️ Selection Process

• Fairness: The Selection Process is unfair, just like life is unfair.
• Entry Process: No race with more possible runners than entry slots has an entry process that is fair.
• Private Process: The process for selection into Ancient Oaks is private and will not be disclosed.
• Awards: IMPORTANT: THERE IS NO BUCKLE AS AN AWARD FOR FINISHING.

🌲 Important Considerations

• Experience: It matters not how many ultras or 100-milers you have run, nor how fast you are.
• Motivation: What matters is that you want to test yourself against the course and the time limit.
• Take It Seriously: Take your entry into the race seriously, regardless of your reasons for running.
• Alternative Races: If any of this is a problem for you, consider the 150 other 100-mile races available.
