One in three girls and one in four boys are sexually assaulted by someone they know and trust. This creates a vulnerability that sexual predators prey upon.

We are addressing the important issues of human exploitation that affects many people. Our mission is to spread awareness and fundraise for solutions we have identified.

Seaside Stride Description

• Date: April 11, 2026
• Location: Fish Lips Waterfront Grill, Cape Canaveral, FL
• Event Type: Community event, not a race
• Schedule:
  • 5:00 AM start for 20-mile trekkers
  • 8:00 AM start for 10-mile trekkers

Event Specifics

• Trek Options: 10-mile or 20-mile beach trek
• Course: Out and back trek starting/returning to Fish Lips Waterfront Grill
• Breakaway Options: Access to sidewalk along the way
• 20-mile Trek Note: Includes repeat sections with turnarounds at Hampton Inn and Jetty Park

Preparation and Participation

• Training: Participants should physically prepare and train for similar distance
• Training Guide: Available HERE!!
• Fundraising: Encouraged, along with sharing training progress
• Awareness Goal: Invite friends and family into the journey for awareness

Event Amenities

• Personal Supplies: Participants are responsible for providing their own snacks and drinks during the trek
• Included: Post-trek celebration with a free drink and light breakfast snacks
• T-shirt and Swag Bag: Provided with registration
• Lunch: Encouragement to stay and support the sponsor after the event
