Lucky Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk

Race Description

• Event: A Cocoa Beach 5K road race for runners and walkers through residential Cocoa Isles.
• Kids Runs: Free Kids Fun Runs of approximately 1/4 mile.

Beneficiary

• Purpose: Proceeds and donations benefit Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School's Project Graduation.
• Event Type: A safe, alcohol-free post-graduation event for our graduating seniors.

Awards & Fun

• Medal: Custom Finisher Medal to all participants!
• Shirts: All pre-registered runners will receive a Unisex Short Sleeve Lucky Leprechaun shirt!
• Awards: Awards for overall winners as well as age group winners!
• Post-Race: Enjoy post-race GREEN BEER (one free beer for those 21), food, Irish music, and fun activities for our little leprechauns!

Packet Pick Up

• Date & Location: Cocoa Beach Health & Fitness on Friday, March 13th, from 4-8 pm, 1355 N. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach.
• Race Day: Saturday, March 14, from 6:30-7:30 am.

• Overall Winners: Top 3 Overall Male & Female
• Masters: Top Female and Male Masters (40+)
• Age Groups: Top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards.
• Categories: Age groups include 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Timing & Scoring

• Chip Timing: This is a chip-timed event where all participants receive a chip that is attached to the back of the bib.
• Bib Importance: It's very important that you wear your bib.

Quick Facts

• Course Length: 5K is 3.1 miles. The course starts and ends at Johnathan's Pub.
• Timing Method: A clock will be present, and all participants will have a chip attached to the back of the bib number.
• Refund Policy: We are unable to issue refunds, but you can run the race virtually.
• Weather: The race is a "rain or shine" event. Dress appropriately for the weather.
