• Event Name: SVDP Church of Our Saviour FOP 5K Run/Walk

Event Purpose

• Signature Event: The Friends of the Poor Walk is a nationwide signature event of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
• Objective: This event is being held to raise awareness and funds supporting the local Conference of Our Saviour's in Cocoa Beach.
• Annual Event: This is our 3rd Annual event.
• Course: A 5K out and back run or walk from the Church parking lot onto Banana River Drive and nearby residential neighborhood.

Registration Details

• Adult Fee: $28.00 (plus fees)
• Kids Registration: $15.00 for ages Pre-K through 17 years old (plus fees)
• Kids Dash: Free kids dash after the 5K is completed.
• Refreshments: Post-race refreshments will be available for participants.

Virtual Participation

• Not in Town: You can participate virtually.
• Registration: Just click on the link to register.

Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Our Saviour Catholic Church in the Angel Room (adjacent to the church).
• Dates: September 19 from 10:00am - 3:00pm and September 25 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Available starting at 6:45am at the race site.

Event Schedule

• 6:45am: Same Day registration and Packet Pick Up
• 7:30am: Registration Closes
• 8:00am: Race Start

Chip Timing

• Timing: All participants are chip timed.

Awards

• Overall Male Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Male
• Overall Female Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Female
• Masters Awards: Overall Male Masters and Overall Female Masters
• Grandmasters Awards: Overall Male Grand Masters and Overall Female Grand Masters

Youth Awards

• Top 3 Male Categories: Ages 12 and under, Ages 13-18
• Top 3 Female Categories: Ages 12 and under, Ages 13-18

Parking

• Location: Parking will be located at Our Saviour Catholic Church.

Dogs

• Policy: Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash.
