Goodlettsville Four Mile Classic

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The Goodlettsville Four Mile Classic is a community race with the goal of benefitting a charity on a USATF certified racecourse.
• Date: This race will take place in Moss Wright Park on June 14th, 2024.
• Start Time: The start time of the race is 7:00am to avoid the primary heat of the day.
• Course: The race will take part throughout the jogging path of the park and on the interior loop to reach the required 4 miles.

🚗 Parking Information

• Parking Locations: Parking for the event will be at the Bowen-Campbell House, along the park road by the football fields, and at the visitor center.
• Reserved Parking: The parking by the playground will be reserved for event staff and volunteers.
• Event Notices: Reserved areas will be marked off with cones as necessary.
• Results: Race results will be posted online for viewing after the race is completed on our race website.

💖 Charity Focus

• Beneficiary: This year the Goodlettsville Four Mile Classic is raising money for Good Works/ Walking with Swager.
• Services: This organization does disaster relief/trains people for disaster relief.
• Community Support: They also help the elderly in our community with projects that are out of reach, such as removing a tree falling across their entryway.
• Goal: The aim is to support community members in need through various initiatives.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

• New Awards: This year we will be giving medals for first place instead of race hats.
• Registration Options: Race Hats are now available instead of race shirts for early registrations.
• Overall Awards: For overall, masters, and grandmasters we will give awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
• Age Group Awards: For age group awards, we will give medals for first and second place.
