• Community Involvement: Janet organized the very first Mosquito Chase and coached junior high track.
• Family: She was a loving wife, mother, and "gigi," dedicated to pushing others toward their potential.

• Annual Scholarship: Janet's family grants a $1000 scholarship each year to a graduating senior or alumnus from Hutsonville High School.
• Honoring Janet: This scholarship honors her passion for teaching and her commitment to her students.
• Fundraising: Proceeds from the Mosquito Chase directly support the scholarship fund.
• Hope: We aim to continue giving this scholarship every May as long as we are able.
