About this race
The 2026 Dorman Cavalier Cross Country Alumni Race
This event will be held on August 8th, 2026 at the Dorman High School Freshman Campus.
Why?
- Purpose: Fundraiser for the Dorman Cross Country Teams
What?
- Kid's Races: 3 short races with distances based on age.
- 5K Event: Open to current Dorman runners, alumni, and family/friends for running, jogging, or walking.
When?
- Date: Saturday, August 8th
- Kids Races Start: 8:00 AM
- 5K Start: 8:15 AM
How much?
- Cost: Free! However, there is an opportunity to give to Dorman Cross Country Teams.
- Donations: Online donations accepted, as well as cash/check on site.
Highlights:
- Entertainment: Music and food truck, including Pelican's SnoBalls.
- Community: Fellowship and memories.
- Race Bibs: Assigned on site.
- Support: Donations will help purchase official course markings, including a plaque/map at the start and permanent 1k and mile markers. Conditional approval has been obtained!
