At the close of the Battle of Cowpens in 1781, two American officers—confident in victory—raced for the ultimate prize, a British three-pounder cannon, called the “Grasshopper”.

📋 Packet Pickup
- Early Packet Pickup: Friday January 8th, 5pm-7pm at Gotta Run Spartanburg
- Race Day Pickup: Saturday Jan 9th, 7:00am - 8:15am at Cowpens Battlefield Office parking lot
- Shirts and Bibs: Can be picked up morning of the race or the day before
- No Race Day Sign Up: No registrations will be available on the day of the race

- No Refunds: We will not be able to offer refunds or deferrals
- Weather Considerations: Weather can be an issue in January: some years we may have to reschedule for safety
🏆 Awards
Awards will be given to the top three overall winners in the open, masters, and grandmasters categories.
Age group awards will be presented in the following categories:
- 14 & under
- 15-19
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75 & over
