🎉 Race Overview

• Gun Start and Chip Finish: For both the 5K and 10 Miler.
• New Adventure: Participants can now run both the 5K and 10 Miler!
• Contact for Discounts: Inquire about reduced rates for running both races.
• Kids Participation: There is no designated kid's fun run, but kids are encouraged to join the 5K.

👕 T-Shirts

• Guarantee: T-shirts are guaranteed only through March 18, 2026.

📦 Packet Pick Up

• When: Friday, March 27, 2026 from 3pm until 6pm.
• Location: The Trail Office.
• Awards: Trophies awarded on-site with online postings.
• Hydration: Waters/aid stations will be available at the 5K and 10 mile turnaround, and water at the finish.

🌲 Course Details

• 5K Course: Starts on Quarry Road, transitions onto a 10-foot wide gravel trail.
• Route: Includes a marked turn around, exiting Foote Trail to Plateau trail before returning.
• 10 Mile Course: Out and back on Foote Trail, featuring gravel paths with scenic views.
• Trail Head Location: 807 Battleground Av, Kings Mountain, NC (Lat: 35-13-49 / Long: 81-21-02).

💵 Registration Fees

• Cost: $20 for both the 5K and 10M (no t-shirt).
• With T-Shirt: $25 for both events.

🏆 Awards

• Trophies: Top three male and female runners in both races will receive trophies.
• Age Groups: U-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
• Note: Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards.
• Packet Pick-Up: Available on race day starting at 7:30am at the Trail Head.

🅿️ Directions and Parking

I-85 (Charlotte) Exit 10 onto US-74 West, exit US-74 Business (King Street) then left on Battleground Av. (0.8m).
I-85 (Spartanburg) Exit 8 onto US-161 North, left on Gold, left on Battleground Av. (0.6m).
US-74 (Asheville) exit NC-216 South onto Piedmont Av., bear right on Battleground Av. (1.6m).

Please park in the grass along Quarry Road or across from the Trail Head in a gravel lot: volunteers will direct you.
