The River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club (RHLW Lions Club) is proud to host the annual Diabetes Run for Life on Saturday, April 25th, 2026.

• Location: 1 Thunderbird Lane, Lake Wylie, SC
• Proceeds: Help support The Lions Club's efforts on behalf of Type I Childhood Diabetes.
• Event: Starts and ends at beautiful Camp Thunderbird adjacent to River Hills.
• Activities: Includes a 5K, 10K runs, and a 1-Mile Family Fun Walk.

🌳 Course Details

The event will include a challenging course with the following features:

• Terrain: Rolling hills and tree lined roads.
• Views: Scenic lake and golf course views.
• Accessibility: Stroller-friendly sidewalks for families.
• Additional Services: Eye examination and diabetes screening stations available.

🎉 Community Impact

The funds raised by "Run For Life" allow the Lions Club to:

• Sponsor: Children with Type I Diabetes to attend Camp Sweet Escape.
• Mission: Help children understand how to live and thrive with this disease.
• Support: Over 30 charities through various community events.
