🌟 NOGAWILD Safari Fun Run/Walk

🏞️ Event Overview

Join us for a one-of-a-kind family-friendly run/walk through the parks where you will run/walk by 100s of animals from antelope, penguins, camel, zebra, kangaroos, and more! Join us in this fun-run fundraising event to help support the efforts of Creation Encounters. You can learn more about their work here. Come prepared to walk/run on an all-terrain course. 🕒 Event Schedule

• Check-in: 7:30 a.m.
• First Wave Start: 8:00 a.m.
• Waves Available: 4 different waves to choose from.

🏃‍♂️ Race Options

• 8:00 a.m. Challenge Course Competition Wave: (3.6 miles) - Includes Safari and Wildlife Park route plus woods & hills. There will also be 8-12 special challenges. $45
• 8:30 a.m. Challenge Course Non-Competitive Wave: (3.6 miles) - Includes Safari and Wildlife Park route plus woods & hills, with optional challenges. $40
• 9:00 a.m. Safari Run/Walk All About the Animals Course: (2.8 miles) - 2 laps following Wildlife Park pathways. $35
• 9:30 a.m. Kids/Family Fun Run: (1 mile) - 1 to 2 laps around the Safari Park. $20

🌍 Virtual Option

There will also be a Virtual Option for those who cannot join us in person but would still like to exercise and help support the animals!

Each option price will increase by $5 one month prior to the Fall Safari Run so get your spots early!

🎉 Post-Race Activities

Raffle and giveaway immediately follow the Safari Run. Challenge Course Competition top placers will receive their awards after the race. Each Safari Run participant (all waves) will receive one free raffle ticket and course finishers will receive a custom Finisher Medal. Other raffle tickets can be purchased. Must be present for the raffle to win.

🕰️ Race Format

Please note - This is a fundraiser race and is not a timed race at this time. We encourage you to keep track of your own time with your watch.

🏅 Potential Challenge Course Challenges

• Feed bag carry
• Sneaky Lunges: across the bridge
• Spider web crawl
• Tunnel: like a groundhog (through a tunnel)
• Tire pull
• Penguin waddle: carry nesting material between your calves without dropping
• Zookeeper problems: choose 5 items from the start line and carry them all at one time without dropping.
• It’s all backward: run backward to mark
• Balance beam cross
