Heroes For Nick 5K, Family Walk & Kids' Hero Dash

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the Heroes For Nick Race

Welcome to our 16th annual Heroes for Nick 5K, Family Walk, & Kids' Hero Dash. The Kids' Hero Dash, for ages 2-10, will complete 1 lap on the track. All kids will get a finishers' prize. The family walk is open to all ages and will include a 1 mile loop on a paved surface. The 5K race will have prizes for the top 2 finishers in each age group and medals will be awarded to the top overall male and female winners. Come out and enjoy our featured Hot Chocolate Bar, participate in our fall games/crafts, and enter to win one of our amazing raffle baskets.

When you register for the event, please consider utilizing the shareable link to start an individual fundraiser or gather friends/family to raise money as a team. You can earn NixCancer apparel and/or an Amazon gift card when you meet specific fundraising goals. We have a TEAM incentive prize. The top overall team will win their choice of a pizza party or an ice cream sundae party.

🌟 Event Details

• Date: 2025-10-12
• Location: Plymouth Whitemarsh High School - Walk in registration and shirt/bib pick up begins at 9am
• Shirt/Bib pick-up: Race Day pick up at PWHS or virtual participants can choose shipping option at checkout
• Awards: Medals for overall Male/Female finisher / Age Groups: top 2 (male/female) in each age group (under 12, 12-18, over 18)

🏅 Race Registration Fees

• Kid's Hero Dash: $15 - Ages 2-10 yrs. (400 meters/1 lap) 10:00am start time
• 5K: $30 - 10:30am start time
• Family Walk: $20 - 10:45am start time

🎈 Amenities

Course will be around PW High School with a stadium finish, Heroes for Nick shirt (participants registered by 9/15), refreshments, water stations, prizes, face painting, lawn games, additional fundraising incentives.

Our event will raise funds for pediatric cancer patients and their families. We are working towards our dream project of building individual housing units in Philadelphia, near CHOP. NixCancer Foundation has partnered with Bryn Mawr Racing Company to bring you an event that will honor the life of Nicholas Mincarelli while supporting families fighting cancer.
