We're back in 2025! And we just don’t mean back on, we’re back to Moraine View State Park!

🍂 About the Dam Site Run

• Origin: The Dam Site Run was created in 2020.
• Unique Opportunity: It started as simply a rare opportunity to race that year when nearly every other race was cancelled.
• Scenic Backdrop: The date meant perfect fall colors as the leaves started to fall in Central Illinois.
• Ideal Timing: Creating the perfect backdrop for a fall race.

🎉 The Tradition Continues in 2025

• Feedback: The feedback was overwhelming after the 2024 race. And we listened.
• Return Venue: A year after road construction forced us to switch venues, we return to Dawson Lake within beautiful Moraine View State Park.
• Race Features: Expect a high-quality race with features you’ve come to know and love: certified course, post-race food, chip-timed with split times, awards, finisher medal, and awesome swag.
• Fall Colors: Enjoy the beautiful fall colors.

🌱 No Single Use Plastics

• Environmental Challenge: We are challenging ourselves to put on an event with no single-use plastics.
• No Plastic Bottles: No plastic water bottles, not even bottles of sports drinks.
• Positive Impact: If we can put on an event and leave a more positive impact on our environment, we should, right?
