Event Overview
Rock Reno Half Marathon & 5K is Reno’s most unique running experience — and the city’s only point-to-point half marathon. Start in South Reno at the Swift Sportsdome and run your way through east Reno streets, bike paths, and parks while you follow the Truckee River - finishing in style at Greater Nevada Field, home of the Reno Aces! There’s nothing like crossing the finish line outside the ballpark with the energy of downtown Reno around you.
Race Options
- Half Marathon: A unique point-to-point experience.
- Relay: Team up with a friend for the 2-person relay.
- 5K: Join us for the 5K run/walk, perfect for all levels.
- Starting Point: Events kick off at Greater Nevada Field.
Aid Stations & Midpoint
- Course Support: The course features 6 aid stations with water and electrolytes.
- Nutrition: Nutrition will be provided at the midpoint.
- Relay Exchange: The midpoint is also the exchange point for Relay Runners.
- Parking: Park at the midpoint to meet your teammate.
Race Day Logistics
- Shuttle Service: A runner shuttle from the finish to the start for half marathon participants.
- Starting Times: Half marathon and relay begin at 8:00 AM.
- Course Cutoff: 3 hour 30 minute course cutoff (11:30 AM/16:02 per mile pace).
- 5K Start: The 5K kicks off at 8:15 AM.
