🎄 Rock'in Santa Half Marathon & Sunshine Santa 5K

Get into the holiday spirit with either a half marathon or 5K run Saturday, December 12th, 2026 from Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville, TN. Events benefit the Sunshine Ambassadors - Enriching the lives of people with disabilities through dance! Christmas Rock-n-Roll music will abound from Victor Ashe Park and along the routes.

🕘 Race Start Times

• Half Marathon and Relay: 9am
• 5K: 9:15am

🏅 Participant Perks

• T-shirts: Participants will receive custom ROCK'IN SANTA long sleeve T-shirts. Shirt sizes not guaranteed after December 5th.
• Finishers Medals: Half marathon & 5K finishers will also receive a finishers medal.
• RaceJoy Mobile App: We have activated RaceJoy for this year's events. You will get instructions on how to download the app and set up for race day.
• Share Progress: Family and friends can monitor your progress throughout the race and receive notifications.

🗺️ Route Information

• 5K Route: Start at the Pavilion, continue onto the Greenway to the back of the school, and loop back to the Start/Finish line.
• Half Marathon Route: 3 loops with a 4 hour time limit: Christmas music at aid stations, passed 9 times over the route (weather permitting).
• Half Marathon Relay Route: Each relay member will complete 1 loop each, transitioning at the designated area: each loop is 4.37 miles.
• Walking Participants: Welcome, but police traffic control will end at 1 PM.

📅 Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, Dec. 11th from 4 PM to 6 PM at Victor Ashe Park race site.
• Saturday Pickup: Continues at race site Saturday, Dec. 12th from 7 AM to 8:45 AM.
• Friend Pickup: Runners can pick up packets for friends.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top three male and female finishers & top male and female masters.
• Age Group Awards: First, second, and third place in age groups ranging from 12-15 to 70.
• Awards Ceremony: Must be present: awards will not be shipped.
• Tentative Awards Times: 5K = 10:15 AM - Half Marathon = 12:30 PM.

🚫 Safety and Regulations

• Headphones: Discouraged due to safety hazards to other runners.
• NO REFUND Policy: Bald Eagle Events has a no refund policy: insurance is available during registration.
• Non-Transferable Entries: Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.
• Cancellation Policy: Financial implications exist for cancellations due to natural disasters: no refunds or free entries for future races.

🛣️ Directions

• From Downtown Knoxville: Take Western Avenue headed west: turn right onto Pleasant Ridge Road: left onto Bradshaw Road: park is on the immediate right.
• From I-40: Take the I-640 exit #385: head west on Western Ave: turn right onto Bradcamp Pk: turn right onto Bradshaw Rd: park will be on the left.
• From I-75: Take the Merchant Drive exit #108: head west: turn left onto Pleasant Ridge Rd: right onto Bradshaw Rd: park will be on immediate right.
