Bourbon & Beyond 5K Race Details
The 2026 Bourbon & Beyond 5K takes place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at the Kentucky Expo Center (937 Phillips Ln.).
Pre-Race Festivities
- Start Time: 7 a.m. - Pre-race festivities begin.
- Activities: Enjoy music, light snacks, and refreshments.
- Warm-Up: Ample time for runners and walkers to warm up.
- Race Start: The race officially kicks off at 8 a.m.
Course Information
The course winds through the Kentucky Exposition Center grounds and Kentucky Kingdom, featuring a special Bourbon & Beyond playlist along the way.
- Live Music: Enjoy live music from the 2024 Bourbon & Beyond Battle of the Strings winner, Bourbon Revival, at the finish line.
- Professional Timing: The race will be professionally chip-timed.
- Commemorative Gear: All participants will receive a short-sleeve race shirt.
- Finisher Medal: Custom finisher medals will be awarded.
Packet Pick-Up Information
Packet pick-up will be held at Planet Fitness (4025 Poplar Level Rd., Louisville, KY 40213):
- Thursday, Sept. 24: 5 – 8 p.m.
- Friday, Sept. 25: 12 – 6 p.m.
- Race Morning: Packet Pick-Up at Kentucky Exposition Center (near the start line in Parking Lot E2).
- Saturday, Sept. 26: 7 – 7:45 a.m.
