Event Details

• Series: Race the Runway 5.02K is the first event in the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series.
• Timing: This race will be professionally chip-timed.
• Participation: All participants will receive a commemorative Race the Runway 5.02K short-sleeved shirt and a custom finisher medal.
• Refreshments: Join us before and after the race for light snacks and refreshments, and be sure to visit our vendors and sponsor booths.

Schedule

• Pre-Race Festivities: Begin at 8 a.m. with snacks, refreshments and opportunities to connect with our vendors and sponsors.
• Start Time: Walkers and runners will take off at 9 a.m.
• Course Experience: Part of the course takes place on the Bowman Field runway, where participants will run alongside aircraft for a truly unique race-day experience.

Packet Pickup

• Pre-Race: Packet pick-up will be held Friday, Aug. 7, from 12–6 p.m. at the Bowman Field Administrative Office (2815 Taylorsville Rd.).
• Race Day: Packet pick-up will also be available from 8–8:45 a.m.
