UNI Homecoming 5K Run/Walk

Event Overview

Come celebrate the University of Northern Iowa Homecoming weekend with a 5K Run/Walk at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10th, 2026!

Course

This year's course will start and end at the Campanile on the UNI campus. Racers will take two loops around the southeast side of campus.

Event Parking

Plenty of parking will be available in the Gilchrist A lot. Please do not park in service spots or handicap spots. Participants will have to walk to the Campanile. The address below is for Gilchrist Hall.

Registration

Register by September 20th to guarantee yourself a short sleeve t-shirt! You can also register after September 21st and on the day of the race, but a t-shirt will not be guaranteed.

• Cost: $25 registration (includes a short sleeve t-shirt)
• Day of Race Registration: $30

Packet Pickup

Please pick up your race packets either Friday, October 9th from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the southwest entrance of Maucker Union, or on Saturday, October 10th from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. at the race start line.
