🍺 SRC Beer Run Overview

Making bad decisions together strikes again! Inspired and led by Michael Prather and others that set a goal of running a marathon a month in 2024, Beer Run was created to fill the gap in August.

Miserable, yes! Amazing fun, you betcha! Doing it again this year...Absolutely!

🍻 Unique Experience

This Race Day will be a non-chip timed progressive event. You can customize your running with your goals (or how much beer you want). Start times are open so those that need longer can take longer.

There is a little something that makes this run super unique. Garth Brooks said it best when he sang "B double E double R-U-N!" He must have been referring to running long in Texas during the summer months!

🍕 Refreshments

• Beer: At the conclusion of every 5k loop runners will have the opportunity to enjoy a 4oz. Beer.
• Hydration: Non-alcoholic hydration will be available at the turn point on the trail and Beer at the BJ's pit stop.
• BYOH: There will not be additional non-alcoholic beer this year but you are welcome to BYOH to leave at the BJ's pit stop area.
• Recovery: Plan to recover with some BJ's pizza at the conclusion of the run.
