Rocky Ledges 5K/10K Trail Run/Walk

Race Overview

SIU Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center are thrilled to offer the ninth year of the Rocky Ledges 5K/10K Trail Run/Walk. The RL5K/10K takes place on the beautiful trails of the Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center.

This event is open to individuals and teams of all ages.

Event Schedule

• Registration Opens: 7:30 AM
• 10K Race Start Time: 8:30 AM
• 5K Race Start Time: 9:00 AM

A trail race safety talk will take place 10 minutes prior to the start time of each race on Freeberg Patio.

Registration Details

• 5K Trail Run/Walk:
  • Prior to September 10: 18 years and older: $30.00: 17 years and under: $25.00
  • On September 10: 18 years and older: $35.00: 17 years and under: $30.00
• 10K Trail Run/Walk:
  • Prior to September 10: 18 years and older: $35.00: 17 years and under: $30.00
  • On September 10: 18 years and older: $40.00: 17 years and under: $35.00

5K Trail Run/Walk Divisions

• Male:
  • Age Divisions: 8 and under, 9 - 11, 12 – 15, 16 – 18, 19 – 25, 26 – 30, 31 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, 70+
• Female:
  • Age Divisions: 8 and under, 9 - 11, 12 – 15, 16 – 18, 19 – 25, 26 – 30, 31 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, 70+

Awards

All participants will receive a medal at the finish line to mark the completion of their race.
