Join Us on October 25th for an Epic Run on 5 Mile Road!
We’re thrilled to announce that the AdventHealth Clermont Clay 5K & 15K presented by LiveTrends Design Group is back and better than ever! This iconic event on 5 Mile Road offers you the perfect blend of scenic beauty, challenging hills, and the joy of running alongside friends in the heart of South Lake County.
Race Details
- Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026
- Distance: 5K (3.1 miles) & 15K (9.3 miles)
- Time: 15K 7:30 AM & 5K 7:35 AM
- Location: 8628 North Bradshaw Road, Clermont, FL
Course Information
If you are new to the race, this is a hilly off road clay course loved and frequented by runners worldwide. Due to the new construction on Schofield Rd, both timed events will be out and back courses, both with the same start and finish line on the clay road.
Awards and Recognition
- Awards: The amazing awards provided by Live Trends Design Group will start at 8:35 am for the 5K followed by the 15K.
- Age Groups: Both 5K and 15K will have awards in 10 year age groups for top 3 overall, 1st place Masters, AND top 3 in each age group, female and male.
- Grand Masters: The 15K will also have a Grand Masters award for male and female.
- Results: Results can be checked online at the end of the event. Awards must be picked up during the ceremony and will not be held post race.
Registration and Packet Pickup
- Early Packet Pickup: Saturday, October 24th, 12pm - 5pm at Dash Sports, 741 W Montrose St Clermont, FL 34711.
- Race Day Pickup: Available on race day at the race location starting at 6:00 AM and closing at 7:15 AM.
- Virtual Packets: Packets will automatically be shipped within two weeks after the race.
- Entry Benefits: All participants will receive a chip timed bib, a gender specific singlet, a finisher's medal and a post-race snack and beverage.
Post Race Activities
- Food: We always have our friends from Kroger delivery at the finish line ready with snacks and treats for our participants.
- Social Media: Feel free to post a picture of yourself completing the race and tag us @flodashevents #flodashrunner #virtualrace.
- Aid Stations: Aid stations will be setup at approximately miles 1.5, 3 & 4.6, providing water, electrolytes, and energy gels.
- Trash Policy: Please carry your trash: don’t throw gels and bottles on the trail. Trash cans will be placed by the aid stations.
Community Impact
For years, the former event organizer, South Lake Multisport Events, Inc., worked tirelessly to raise awareness and funds for endurance sports in South Lake County. Thanks to your love for the Clay Trail, we’ve made incredible progress:
- Funds Raised: $105,000 raised to date for endurance venues in the area!
- Trail Development: Wellness Way trails (paved and soft) are becoming a reality.
- Parking Improvements: Future designated parking for 5 Mile Road is in the works!
- Community Growth: Let's continue giving back to the endurance community and make South Lake County a premier destination for active living.
