Join Us on October 26th for an Epic Run on 5 Mile Road!
We’re thrilled to announce that the AdventHealth Clermont Clay 5K & 15K presented by LiveTrends Design Group is back and better than ever! This iconic event on 5 Mile Road offers you the perfect blend of scenic beauty, challenging hills, and the joy of running alongside friends in the heart of South Lake County.
For years, the former event organizer, South Lake Multisport Events, Inc., worked tirelessly to raise awareness and funds for endurance sports in South Lake County. Thanks to your love for the Clay Trail, we’ve made incredible progress:
Let’s continue giving back to the endurance community and making South Lake County a premier destination for active living. See you on the clay!

If you are new to the race, this is a hilly off road clay course loved and frequented by runners worldwide. Please refer to the video above for a full view of the course and the map below. Due to the new construction on Schofield Rd, both timed events will be out and back courses, both with the same start and finish line on the clay road.

Each piece is a testament to the seamless blend of nature and design.
The famous Clermont Clay. Please refer to the map for parking and driving directions as the venue has changed from previous years.
All participants will receive a chip-timed bib, a gender-specific singlet, a finisher's medal, and a post-race snack and beverage. All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED. Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor and putting the race in jeopardy. If you want to pace a child, spouse, or friend, you MUST register as well. BANDIT AND PACING RULES
All participants in the 15K live event must be able to maintain a pace of at least 16 minutes per mile and must be able to finish in at least 2 1/2 hours.
For safety reasons, NO pets of any kind are allowed on the course during the race. PLEASE LET RACE ORGANIZERS KNOW YOU ARE RUNNING WITH A SERVICE DOG AHEAD OF TIME by emailing us at flodashevents@gmail.com. Participants showing up with a dog will be kindly asked to leave the course. Service dogs will be allowed and we ask that you please line up at the end of the pack. Jogging strollers are allowed on the race course during the event BUT be aware this is an off-road race and pushing a stroller may be less than ideal. ALL STROLLERS MUST LINE UP AT THE VERY BACK FOR SAFETY. Bicycles, skateboards, or any other non-authorized motorized carts or vehicles are not allowed on the race course during the event.
Aid stations will be set up at approximately miles 1.5, 3 & 4.6. This is an out-and-back course so the 15k participants will have 5 chances to hydrate. Aid stations will have a combination of water/electrolytes and energy gels. More details will be posted closer to the race. Please always plan on bringing your own necessities to fuel and hydrate properly. You must carry your trash: please do not throw gels and bottles on the trail. Trash cans will be placed by the aid stations.
We always have our friends from Kroger delivery at the finish line ready with snacks and treats for our participants.
