Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

🎃 Event Overview

The Kiwanis Club of Lima is pleased to sponsor its 7th annual Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5K, Fun Run Walk & Virtual Pet Contest which will take place on October 26, 2025 (A virtual option is available for the races.) Proceeds will help fund Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs to benefit the children and residents of Allen County: The Kiwanis Club of Lima works with local school systems to help cultivate young leaders through service with their service leadership clubs at the elementary, middle and high schools. These clubs are recognized for their work throughout the USA and continue to grow each year.

🐾 Beneficiaries

The Virtual Pet Contest will benefit local animal welfare agencies:

• Humane Society: Supports the humane treatment of animals.
• Deb's Dogs: Rescue organization for dogs in need.
• A Lotta Love Pet Rescue: Dedicated to rescuing and rehoming pets.

🕓 Event Schedule

• Start Time: Staggered Start - Fun Run at 4:00 P.M., 5K at 4:20 P.M.
• Start Location: West side of Faurot Park on Rosedale Drive - Lima, OH.

📦 Race Items Pick-Up

• Pre-Race: 5 PM - 6:30 PM on October 24 at Allen County Children's Services.
• Race Day: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM.

💵 Entry Fees

5K:

• Early Registration (on or before July 18, 2025): $27
• After July 18 through October 1st: $30
• After October 1st through October 25th: $35
• Race Day: $40

Fun Run and Virtual Fun Run:

• Early Registration (on or before September 1, 2025): $25
• After September 1, 2025: $30

👕 Race Shirt

Receive a commemorative shirt. Register early and get yours! Registrations received after October 3, 2025 will not have the race shirt included. Limited quantities may be available for purchase on race day.

🐕 Pet Contest Fees

• Entry Fee: $10 for first pet, $5 for each additional pet.
• Shirt: $10 for commemorative shirt (same as race shirt), $15 for additional family members.
• Contest Deadline: October 24, 2025

🏅 Awards

Awards presented to the top three male and female finishers overall and top three in each male and female age group for the 5K: 10 & under, 11-14, and 15-19.
