Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

🎃 Event Overview

The Kiwanis Club of Lima is pleased to sponsor its 7th annual Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5K, Fun Run Walk & Virtual Pet Contest which will take place on October 26, 2025 (A virtual option is available for the races.) Proceeds will help fund Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs to benefit the children and residents of Allen County. The Kiwanis Club of Lima works with local school systems to help cultivate young leaders through service with their service leadership clubs at the elementary, middle and high schools. These clubs are recognized for their work throughout the USA and continue to grow each year.

🐾 Virtual Pet Contest

The Virtual Pet Contest will benefit local animal welfare agencies:

• Humane Society: Humane Society of Allen County
• Dog Rescue: Deb's Dogs
• Pet Rescue: A Lotta Love Pet Rescue

🕒 Race Details

• Start Time: Staggered Start - Fun Run at 4:00 P.M., 5K at 4:20 P.M.
• Start Location: West side of Faurot Park on Rosedale Drive - Lima, OH
• Race Items Pick-up: October 24 from 5pm-6:30pm and Race Day from 2:00-3:30pm

💵 Entry Fees

5K: Early Registration on or before July 17, 2025--$27. After July 17 through October 1st --$30. After October 1st through October 25th --$35 and $40.00 on Race Day.

Fun Run: Early Registration on or before September 1, 2025--$25. After September 1, 2025--$30.

Pet Contest Fee: $10 for first pet, $5 for each additional pet.

👕 Race Shirt

Receive a commemorative shirt. Register early and get yours! Registrations received after October 1, 2025 will not have the race shirt included. Limited quantities may be available for purchase on race day.

🏆 Awards

Awards presented to the top three finishers overall and top three in each male and female age group for the 5K: 10 & under, 11-14, and 15-19.
