Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

Event Overview

The Kiwanis Club of Lima is pleased to sponsor its 8th annual Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5K, Fun Run Walk & Virtual Pet Contest which will take place on October 25, 2026 (A virtual option is available for the races.)

Date and Location

• Date: October 25, 2026
• Start Time: Staggered Start: Fun Run at 4:00 P.M., 5K at 4:20 P.M.
• Start Location: West side of Faurot Park on Rosedale Drive, Lima, OH
• Race Items Pick-up: October 25 from 5:00 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. at 123 West Spring Street, Lima, OH, and on Race Day from 2:00 P.M. - 3:30 P.M.

Entry Fees

• 5K Early Registration: $27 on or before August 31, 2026
• 5K Regular Registration: $30 from August 31 to October 1: $35 from October 1 to October 25, and $40 on Race Day
• Fun Run Registration: $25 on or before September 1, 2025, $30 after
• Pet Contest Fee: $10 for first pet, $5 for each additional pet

Rewards and Contest Details

• Awards: Top three male and female finishers overall, and top three in each male and female age group for the 5K.
• Virtual Pet Contest: Benefits local animal welfare agencies: voting from October 14-28, deadline October 13, 2026
• Race Shirt: Commemorative shirt for early registrants: limited quantities available on race day
• 1 Mile Fun Run: Not a timed event: distance can be modified as needed
