Renner’s Character 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us Saturday, September 20th for The Renner’s Character 5K Run/Walk. Dress up as your favorite character or just be a character and join us for a good time! Wear a costume or just come as you are! We will host a 5k Run and 5k Walk to help support the Renner Theater’s mission in providing quality arts for the community. There is something for everyone! This is a great way to support the arts in Zanesville!

All proceeds raised at the event will ensure that The Renner Theater can continue to provide quality performances and opportunities for our area!

• Date: Saturday, September 20th
• Time: 9:00 a.m.
• Location: Zane State/OUZ Collegial Woods Trail
• Address: 1555 Newark Rd., Zanesville, OH 43701

🏁 Race Course

• Distance: 5k Run and Fun Run
• Terrain: Rolling terrain throughout the course
• Water Stations: Available throughout the course and at the finish
• Nutrition: Available at the finish

🏆 Awards

• 5k Race: Awards for top three female and male finishers
• Fun Run: Not timed, great for walkers
• Costume Contest: Awards for costume winners
• Recognition: Celebrate creativity and participation!

📊 Race Results

Automatic text and email results will be sent immediately following a participant's finish for those that opt-in. Instant results will also be available on site at the Results Kiosks and at the race website.

🎽 Race Packets and Finish Line Perks

• Contents: Custom t-shirt with official race logo, memorial run bib, and other sponsor items to be determined
• Refreshments: Water and refreshments available at the finish
• T-Shirt Guarantee: All participants registered by August 31st are guaranteed t-shirts
• Availability: Extra t-shirts will be on a first-come, first-served basis

💰 Entry Fees

All fees are non-refundable:

• 5k Race (timed): $25 through August 31st, $30 through Sept. 19th, $35 day of race
• 5k Fun Run/Walk (non-timed): Same fee structure as 5k Race
• Support: All Donations and a portion of the net proceeds will support The Renner Theater

📦 Early Packet Pick-up

• Pre-Event: Friday, September 20th, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Renner Theater
• Race Day: Packet pick-up starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Shelter house

🔄 Refund Policy

If we are unable to safely hold an in-person race for any reason, we will automatically convert all registrations to a non-refundable virtual event as opposed to rescheduling. Updates will be posted on the race website.
