KU Vets Day 5K

🎖️ Event Overview

The annual KU Vets Day 5K, hosted by the KU Student Veterans of America and the Veterans Alumni Network, honors our past/present veterans and raises awareness of the roles veterans play in our university and community.

🏫 Course Details

• Start/Finish Location: The 5K usually begins and ends at Memorial Stadium.
• Route: Traveling through the KU campus past KU’s war memorials.
• Alternate Route: This year, due to construction at Memorial Stadium, an alternative campus route is being planned.
• Updates: More information about this year's route will become available at a later date.

💰 Support and Proceeds

All proceeds from the Vets Day 5K support:

• KU Student Veterans of America: Chapter support and funding.
• KU Veterans Alumni Network: Networking and resources for veterans.
• Lt. Gen. William K. Jones Military-Affiliated Student Center: Support for military-affiliated students.
