2026 Sunflower Elementary Community Fun Run/Walk

🌻 Event Overview

The purpose of this non-competitive race is to bring the Sunflower Elementary and Lawrence community together to support health, wellness, and connection.

• Location: Sunflower Elementary School, 2521 Inverness Dr., Lawrence, KS.
• Distance: Participants can run/walk from one to three loops.
• Route: Loop circling Sunflower and Southwest Middle School, partially off-road on grass and partially on paved sidewalk.
• Finish Line: Southwest Middle School Track.

👕 Registration Details

A t-shirt is included in the entry fee, and t-shirts can be picked up at Sunflower the morning of the race from 7:30 to 8:45 am.

• Payment Options: In-person via check, cash, or PayPal.
• Supplies: T-shirts included while supplies last.

🕘 Schedule of Events

• 9 am: Tot Trot begins on Sunflower playground blacktop near the gazebo.
• 9:10 - 9:30 am: Dad Dash on Sunflower playground blacktop near the gazebo.
• 9:30 am: Sunflower Fun Run/Walk begins! Starting line will be on the grass near the gaga ball pit.
