About the Event

• Purpose: To raise funds and collect non-perishables for the Harvest House Food Pantry.
• History: Established by 13 Vernon Township High School students in 1997 as the VTHS Hunger Project.
• Service: Currently serving 50+ people a day through a pickup and go system.
• Community Impact: Join us to help meet community needs as we enter the colder months.

Event Details

• Participation: Run or walk individually, with family, or create a team.
• Route: Combination of hills and turns through a picturesque rural landscape.
• Fun Element: Cheering section of local cows along the route!
• Objective: Kickoff a day of giving and benefit a worthy cause.

Registration Information

• Individual Registration: $30.00 (Price increases to $35 on 11/14/25 and day of).
• Group Registration: Flocks of four or more - $25 each participant (Price increases to $30 on 11/14/25 and day of).
• Children Under 10: FREE!
• Included With Registration: Race Bib, Swag bag filled with goodies, Race T-shirt (guaranteed for paid registrants by 10/31/25), and lifetime memories.

Additional Activities

• Costume Contest: Prizes for the most fun feathers!
• Donation: Please bring a non-perishable item to donate to local food pantries.
