RTA - Richmond Hebrew Day School proudly presents the RTA Run-A-Latke, presented by the Habib Family, on Sunday, December 14, 2025!

• Location: Weinstein JCC, 5403 Monument Ave
• Race Types: 5K and 1 Miler, plus a virtual 5K option
• Start Time: To be determined
• Post-Race Party: Enjoy hot chocolate, donuts, and latkes!

💵 Event Details and Fees

5K

• Race Type: In-person, chip-timed
• Registration fees:
• September 12 - November 7: $35 (plus processing fee)
• November 8 - December 14: $45 (plus processing fee)
• December 14: $50 (plus processing fee)

1 Miler

• Race Type: In-person fun run/walk, chip-timed
• Registration fees:
• September 12 - November 7: $25 (plus processing fee)
• November 8 - December 13: $30 (plus processing fee)
• December 14: $35 (plus processing fee)

Virtual 5K

• Race Type: Virtual event, open to all abilities
• Registration fees:
• September 12 - November 7: $35 (plus processing fee)
• November 8 - December 14: $45 (plus processing fee)

Should you need financial assistance, please contact the race director. Kids under 5 are free and will not receive a race t-shirt unless t-shirts are requested and paid at the time of registration.

Refund Policy: If the race is canceled for any reason, the registration fee is non-refundable. Participants will still receive their t-shirts and medals if desired.

🏃 In-Person Courses & Course Rules

5K

• Course Details: Family-friendly, starts and ends at the Weinstein JCC
• Participants: All abilities welcome!
• Strollers: Permitted: please start at the rear of the starting corral
• Awards: Top finishers receive prizes, all finishers get medals

1 Miler

• Course Details: Family-friendly, starts and ends at the Weinstein JCC
• Participants: All abilities welcome!
• Strollers: Permitted
• Awards: Top finishers receive prizes, all finishers get medals

Virtual 5K

• Course Type: Individualized, untimed event
• Completion: On a course of your choice, no bibs
• Awards: Long sleeve performance shirts and medals for local registrants only

Please note that you are responsible for your safety for all events. Be alert, watch for traffic, and pay attention to fellow participants and course marshals. Should the weather impact the RTA Run-A-Latke, you will be notified Saturday night, December 13th.

📦 Packet Pickup for In-Person Events

• Pickup Location: Lucky Road Run Shop in the Willow Lawn Shopping Center
• Dates: December 7 from 12:00-2:00pm or December 11 from 4:30-6:00pm
• Day-of Pickup: Begins at 8:00am at the Weinstein JCC
• On-site Registration: Available on race day (card payment only)

🏆 Awards

5K Awards

• Top Finishers: Gift certificates for the top 3 male and female overall finishers
• Masters Awards: Gift certificates for the top male and female masters (age 65 and over)
• All Finishers: Receive a medal

1 Miler Awards

• Top Finishers: Prizes for the top 3 finishers
• All Finishers: Receive a medal
