• Cause: Benefiting SAWYER’S RACE FOR RESEARCH
• Background: In 2021 Sawyer Burch was diagnosed with TFP. His family is committed to helping Sawyer and other children with life-threatening metabolic disorders.
• Community Impact: To date our community has raised over $300,000.
• Call to Action: Put on your cape, you too can become a super hero!

🧬 About TFP

• Definition: TFP Mitochondrial beta-oxidation trifunctional protein (TFP) deficiency impairs the body's ability to generate cellular energy.
• Symptoms: Symptoms can lead to frequent hospitalizations and premature death.
• Funding: 100% of proceeds will go toward funding TFP research at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
• Support: This will help children fighting this and other metabolic disorders.
