Race Challenges

• Donut Challenge: Not your typical 5K! Participants consume a dozen donut holes halfway before racing back.
• Non-Donut Challenge: Enjoy the 5K run/walk at your own pace! Plenty of donuts await after the race.

Virtual Participation

How it works:
1. Register for the virtual race by March 16th.
2. Receive a customizable race bib, finisher’s medal, and t-shirt in the mail.
3. Run anytime from March 16th-23rd and enjoy donuts as you please. Use hashtag #CCDD26 to share!

Parking will be located in the Fowling Warehouse's parking lot, across the street from Fowling.

Awards

Overall and age group winners will receive an Athletic Annex gift card and a special award medal at 10:00 am.

Costume Contest: Enter by visiting the American College of Education table before 9:45 am. Winners will be announced during the award ceremony.

Challenge Rules

• Completion: Eat all 12 donut holes at the halfway point donut station.
• Time Limit: 45 minutes from race start to consume all donuts.
• Check Point: Ensure a volunteer checks the Donut Challenge completed box on your bib#.
• Eligibility: Participants who "give back" their donuts will be ineligible for awards.

Non-Donut 5k:

• $40 - Until January 8th, 2026

Event Support

This event raises funds for Teachers' Treasures. There will be no refunds if the race must be canceled due to inclement weather. Additionally, there will be no refunds given if you are unable to attend after registering.

About Teachers' Treasures

Teachers' Treasures is a not-for-profit that provides school supplies to teachers of students in need. Since 2000, $94 Million worth of school supplies have been distributed.

More than 270 schools and nearly 6,000 teachers participate in the program annually.
