MGM Runway 5K

Event Overview

The Montgomery Regional Airport is excited to host its second annual Runway 5K. The MGM Runway 5K is on a closed course located on the airfield with roughly four miles of runway.

Course Details

• Course Location: Racers will run on Taxiway Bravo, Delta, Echo, and Runway 3-21 south, which are all located beside our active Runway 3-21.
• Unique Experience: Runners will have a chance to run beside aircraft and get a close-up view of aircraft landing and taking off.
• Amazing Views: The uniqueness of this event allows runners to experience the airport grounds and amazing views of the MGM terminal.
• Exclusive Race: Participate in a 5K race like no other!

Registration Information

• Eligibility: You must register as a runner to participate.
• Children Policy: Children 14 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult. Children 5 and under are free with a registered adult.
• Participant Limit: The race will be limited to the first 500 participants.
• Early Registration: Early registration is encouraged! Registered participants will be able to run or walk the runway.
