2024 Veterans Salute 5K and 10K Presented by: American Legion Post 51

Come join us for this patriotic run to salute those who have served this great Nation!

🏁 Race Details

• Location: Fifth Third Bank - Downtown Concord, Concord, NC
• Date: 2024-11-02
• Start Times: Fun Run (1 mile) at 8:30am, 5k at 9:00am, and 10k at 9:05am
• Start/Finish Line: McCachern Blvd following the Downtown Connector Greenway with a ½ mile turnaround

🏃‍♂️ Race Course

Races will begin on McCachern Blvd beside the Cabarrus County Parking Lot. The 5k will run toward Corban Ave, take a right onto Corban Ave, left onto Union, Turnaround at Tribune, run back to Corban into Greenway and back up to the finish using Downtown Connector. The 10k will run toward Corban Ave, take a left and down into the greenway and up to Lawndale, Patton Ave, connect to McAllister Ave, SunnySide, left on Winfield, left on Ingleside, right on Caldwell, left on Hillcrest, and into downtown Concord using Union, back down Corban Ave, and use the downtown connector for the finish.

🏆 Awards

Awards given to overall top 3 male and female, top veteran in male and female, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.

📅 Registration Information

• USATF Certificated Courses: 5k: NC24004DF, 10k: NC21008DF
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Register by October 12th to be guaranteed an awesome T-Shirt!
• Hoodie: First 100 10k registrants receive a hoodie! 10k participants must register by October 12th to be guaranteed their hoodie size.
• Race Day Registration: Starts at 7:30am on Race Day. Increase price of $10 for the 5k and 10k.

Cook and Cruzin' food truck & yard games provided by Concord's Youth Council.
