8th Annual MDC 5k and Family Fun Day and Obstacle Course

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The 8th Annual 5K Family Fun Day and Obstacle Course will take place on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at the Amelia Earhart Park. There's something for everyone at this year's Family Fun Day! New this year compete in the fun and challenging Obstacle Course. Jump and dive through the hurdles while family and friends cheer you on.

👟 Race Participation

And for those who prefer the more traditional competition, run/walk in the 5k Race. All levels are welcome in both.

• Open to all ages: This event is designed for participants of all fitness levels.
• Start Times: Experienced runners will begin the 5K run at 7 a.m., followed by the general race at 7:30 a.m.
• Awards Ceremony: The 5K awards ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m.
• Community Involvement: Employees and their families can join community partners with giveaways and valuable information.

Some of the event highlights will include:

• 5K Racers Celebration: Celebrate our 5K racers and IThrive Anniversary.
• Obstacle Course: A new fun challenge for all participants!
• Entertainment: Enjoy performances from Creative Entertainment Group.
• Food Options: Food trucks and refreshments will be available.
• Family Fun: Climbing walls and other activities for the family.
• Giveaways: Participate in contests and enjoy more fun surprises.

🕒 Important Registration Information

Registration closes on November 9th, 2024. T-shirt sizing and complete race day packet cannot be guaranteed to those who register after September 21.
