• Elevation: The Half Marathon has a total elevation gain of 224 feet, the 5K course gains 50 feet, and the 10K only 90 feet.
• Finishers' Awards: All finishers will receive an alien head medal and a coveted Area 13.1 tri blend shirt.
• Refreshments: Runners 21 and over will enjoy a free beer donated by Gate City Brewing Company.

🌙 Race Logistics

• Safety: Headlamps or running lights are highly suggested due to dark spots along the course.
• Start Time: The race starts at 7 PM: it gets dark around 8:45 PM.
• Time Limit: Participants have 4 hours to complete the race, with the Finish Line closing at 11 PM.
• Cutoff Requirements: Runners must reach mile 6.5 (The Park) by 9 PM and Mile 10 by 10 PM.

• Completion Time: All participants will have 4 hours to complete the race.
• Important Cutoff: Reach mile 6.5 by 9 PM: failure to do so means diversion to party in the park.
• Mile 10 Mark: Must reach this by 10:00 PM: otherwise, runners will be redirected back to the finish.
